Welcome to my photographic journey!
My name is Daniel Myrvang, and I'm a passionate hobbyist photographer. My camera is my artistic companion, and I find joy in capturing the fleeting beauty of everyday life, the grandeur of landscapes, and the vibrant energy of cityscapes. My adventure with photography started back in 2009 with a Nikon D60, but it wasn't until 2016, when I invested in a Canon 100D and some lenses, that my passion truly blossomed.
Since then, I've dedicated myself to honing my skills, focusing on the interplay of composition and color. I believe that the most compelling images are found in the interesting light and shapes that surround us, rather than striving for artificial perfection. Fast track nine years later, and I've navigated through several camera systems before settling on a digital medium format setup from Fujifilm. I'm currently enjoying the epic Mitakon 65mm f/1.4 and the lightweight yet very capable Fujifilm GFX 50mm f/3.5 WR. I particularly appreciate the 40mm field of view, which closely mirrors human vision. Ultimately, photography will always be about the person behind the camera, but the right gear can certainly inspire greater creativity. I invite you to explore my galleries and share in my love for capturing the world as I see it.
